"Chantecler is the story of a great friendship between Pietro Capuano and Salvatore Aprea, two very different characters, but both very special. Pietro Capuano, nicknamed by everybody Chantecler for his habit of partying until the early hours of the morning, was a man with a very extravagant character. He was a dandy, the heir to a noble family of Neapolitan jewellers, capable of enchanting all the guests invited to his epic parties. Salvatore Aprea was a stubborn and rebellious young man, native of Capri. Despite attending University to read law, he decided to dedicate his life to art and in particular High Jewelry. His creative mind was able to exploit his intuitive imagination and produce works of art of awe-inspiring craftsmanship".
