Georg Jensen (b. Rådvad 1866, d. Hellerup 1935)
A lapis lazuli necklace set with numerous cabochon lapis lazuli, mounted in sterling silver. Design no. 1. W. 11–14 mm. L. 36 cm. Georg Jensen after 1945.
The necklace is Georg Jensen's first design no. 1, designed in circa 1906. In the original design the necklace had a bridle clasp, this newer design after 1945 is with an integrated clasp.
Condition
Wear due to age and use.
