Portrait of a distinguished lady in a white dress, blue hat and flowers. Unsigned. Indistinct inscribed and dated on the reverse. Oil on canvas. 45×38 cm. Rococo revival frame, 19th century.
The present portrait is very similar to Carle van Loo's portrait of the Marquise de Pompadour (Château de Versailles).
Provenance: Acquired by Erica Zeiner-Henriksen 1922–1927 in St. Petersburg.
