A cylindrical chamotte stoneware vase inlaid with stylized leaf decor in a lighter stoneware mass. Decorated with transparent blue glaze. Signed Salto, 1(0/9?),43, 9113. Royal Copenhagen. H. 8.5 cm. Diam. 8–8.5 cm.
Provenance: The vase was part of the private collection of museum curator and art historian Sigurd Schultz (b. 1894, d. 1980).
Some surface marks and scratches. The inside with some limescale. Foot rim with a couple of chips - please see detailed images.
