“Julianes Giftermaal” is a short story by the Danish writer Steen Steensen Blicher (1782–1848) and Peer Spillemand from 1840, that among other things describes the preparations and the time leading up to a young woman's wedding. In 1899, Carl Thomsen illustrated “Udvalgte noveller” (selected short stories) by Blicher, among others “Julianes Giftermaal”.
