Holger Jacobaeus, a pupil of Nicolas Steno and son-in-law of Thomas Bartholin, published this catalogue of the famous royal collection in Copenhagen. This collection, comprising the old collection of Ole Worm, is really the basis of today's National Museum of Copenhagen. The tables depict the items and artifacts of the museum: mummies, The Oldenburg Horn (now in the collection at Rosenborg Castle) and the first of the Golden Horns of Gallehus to be found. Also depicted is a painting of a group of Greenlanders brought to Denmark.
