A boy and a girl looking for a ship in the horizon. Unsigned. Inscribed on the stretcher Malet af Frode? Melchior Den 24 Juli 1858. Oil on canvas. 29×24 cm.

A painting with a similar motif painted by Peter Raadsig was sold at Bruun Rasmussen auction 1715, 2017 no. 135.

Condition

Minor crackles. In need of a light surface cleaning. A few retouches.
