An original b/w press photograph of Argentinian born revolutionary leader Ernesto 'Che' Guevara (1928–1967) during his stay in Cuba in the early 1960s. Back stamped 'Agencia de Informacion Nacional - Cuba'. Varnished surface. Red painted wooden frame with double glazing. Visible size 10×15 cm. Frame size 22×27 cm.

Not infrequently older photographs turn discoloured In the tropical belt due to the influence of long term extreme humidity. People sometimes seek to counteract this phenomenon by varnishing the surfaces of the photographs, either initially or later.

Condition

This is an original b/w press photograph from the mid 1960s, which has yellowed and which has two creased corners. Back with reinforcements. Varnished surface.
