The Treasury of Sacred Song was owned by Princess Alix of Albany, granddaughter of Queen Victoria who became Princess Alexander of Teck in 1906. The book was a gift inscribed in 1906 by women’s rights campaigner Lavina Talbot and Edward Ruffer.
