An oval Baroque silvergilt dish, embossed decoration, the centre depicting the sea with Poseidon, nereide riding a dolphin, two swans and presumably Amphitrite, lobed rim with cherub heads and grotesque masks. Apparently unmarked. C. 1625–1650. Presumably Augsburg or Hamburg. Weight 1694 gr. L. 52 cm.
