From Kbhbilleder on (present day) Sans Souci on Frederiksberg: The name, Sans Souci, comes from an estate built in 1798 by mason J. M. Quist on Frederiksberg Allé. Around 100 years later the estate was demolished. The name, however, survived in the present Sans Souci Restaurant & Wine bar.

Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 314, 1974 no. 204.

Condition

Minor peelings. In need of a light surface cleaning and a slight tightening.
