Ole Bent Petersen (b. 1938, d. 1998)

A unique jewellery set comprising a bracelet and a ring set with numerous polished lapis lazuli, yellow jaspis, rhodonites, opals, flintstones and marble, mounted in 18k gold. Total weight app. 90.5 g. Bracelet W. 20–28 mm. L. 19.5 cm. Ring W. 28 mm. Size 49. 1984 (2)

The bracelet is titled “Udstilling” (Exihibition) and the ring is titled “Mosaik” (Mosaic).

The jewellery set has been exhibited at The National Museum of of Modern Art in Tokyo in 1984 and at The Trapholt Museum in 1991 and at the City of Copenhagen exhibition hall at Nikolaj Square in 1992. Accompanied by copy of original receipt, exhibition papers and cases.

The mosaic stones draw the imagination to for example houses, different rooms and perspective, and give the jewellery an architectural expression with a strong graphic character.
