The Farewell Kiss. A Russian patinated bronze sculpture with a cossack saying goodbye to his sweetheart. Signed Grachev (in Cyrillic). C. F. Woerfell Bronze Foundry in St. Petersburg. H. 37.5 cm. L. 36 cm. W. 18 cm.

Provenance: Acquired in St. Petersburg 1908 by an English captain, who sailed between England and Russia for English shipping companies. Thence by descent to his great-grandson with residence in Denmark, until today.

Condition

Missing harness and some harness in changed position. The gun has been broken and has a repair.
