A Mongolian gilt copper repoussé two-parted figure of White Tara, with eyes on forehead, hands and feet, she is seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, right hand in the varada mudra, the left raised holding a now missing lotus stem, dressed in dhoti and flowing garment, wearing heavy jewellery and a pierced five petalled crown. Sealed bottom. 18th century. Weight 1930 g. H. 33 cm.
