A Chinese porcelain plaque decorated in enamel colours and gold. Centre with cartouche showing dragon chasing the flaming pearl surrounded by Buddhist symbols, flowers and foliage on yellow ground. Late Qing. Plaque 37×59 cm. Mounted on a table made by Ole Wanscher.

Provenance: Professor Ole Wanscher (1903–1985) Ole Wanscher was a Danish furniture architect, professor and author. He helped to build the international popularity of Danish furniture design in the post-war era.
