A collection of Royal table silver partly engraved with Prince Valdemar's crowned monogram, comprising a larger and smaller coffee pot and sugar bowl. Maker A. Michelsen, Copenhagen 1859, 1871 and 1853. Together with a pair of creamers and a small oval tray. Maker F. Dahl, Copenhagen 1853 and A. Dragsted, Copenhagen 1920. Weight in total 1861 g. H. 7–18 cm. Prince Valdemar (1858–1939) son of King Christian IX and Queen Louise.

Provenance: Descendants of King Christian IX until this year, hereafter in private ownership.

Condition

Normal patina due to age and use, including scratches, marks and minor dents. One coffee pot missing the handle isolation discs. Creamers dented.
