A hanging scroll depicting a beautiful scenery from the Hunan Province. Seal stamps, ink and watercolour on silk mounted on paper and silk. Inscribed and mark of Shi Tao. 19th century. Image 127×40 cm.
Provenance: Bought by Director of The David Collection, André Leth for the owner's family at Milne Henderson, Oriental Print and Paintings, London 1977. Later fitted hardwood box.
General wear, some scratches, some folds, some repairs visible on the back. Later mounting.
