Hans J. Wegner (b. Tønder 1914, d. Gentofte 2007)

“ML 33”. Rocking chair with frame of patinated oak, back with vertical bars. Seat upholstered with green wool. Manufactured by Mikael Laursen, Århus.

The Rocking Chair was presented at Købestævnet in Fredericia 1942. The chair is the first rocking chair designed by Wegner.

Condition

Wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Wool with stains and dirt. MInor loose joints around back.
