A pattern 1856 British midshipman’s dirk by Gieve in its scabbard with an etched c 45,5 cm long single edged blade decorated on one side with a fouled anchor and ROYAL NAVY and on the other with the crowned cypher of George the V. The upper scabbard mount is marked C. R. W. G.

Condition

Most of the gilding gone.
