A portrait of Charles le Brun (1619–1690). Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 80×64 cm. Oval.

In 1686 Largilliere's portrait of Lebrun ensured him a seat in the Academy The portrait i located in the Louvre INV 5661. The present work is a detail of said portrait.

Condition

Restored. The canvas is relined. Retouches and a few faint crackles.
