With engraved portrait of Empress Maria Theresa. With numerous engravings after Piazzetta. Bound in full speckled calf. Gilt spine with seven raised bands. Slight wear and worming to binding. Very clean inside.

Tasso's epic poem which recounts the last months of the First Crusade, was completed in 1575, but revised numerous time hereafter. This edition with illustrations by Giambatista Piazzetta (1682–1754).
