The Hongs of Canton flying the Danish, Imperial Austrian, French, American, Swedish, English and Dutch flags, with several figures in front of the houses and Chinese junks anchored up. Oil on canvas. 104×66 cm.

Literature: Carl L. Crossman: The China Trade, 1972. p. 261 fig. 7 similar motif suggesting the painting is depicting the Hongs in the period between 1810–20.

Provenance: Swedish private collection.
