A Danish Baroque miniature silver peg tankard, gilt interior, the hinged cover engraved with mirrored monogram encircled by leaf wreath, leaf-shaped thumbpiece, scroll handle, the body with applied cast leaf decoration above three ball-shaped supports, the front engraved with cartouche with the inscription “2 til morgentienliger, 4 Sundhed alt for ner, 6 for let bliefve ?ech, 12 til pas at liggr i Drech”. The reverse engraved with initials JH. Maker Claus Lauritzen Lave, Copenhagen 1705. Weight 135 g. H. incl. thumbpiece 8.5 cm.
