Bjørn Wiinblad (b. Copenhagen 1918, d. 2006)

Oval earthenware beard dish /sconce decorated with polychrome womans' and flower motif on a pale grey base. Signed Bjørn Wiinblad -74. Mounted with a brass fitting and two candle holders. H. incl. brass fitting 35.5 cm. W. 40.5 cm. D. max. 11.7 cm. Inner diam. of candle holders 2.1 cm.

Condition

On the reverse side, the brass mounting is taped on to the shaving dish to fix it - can be removed. Patina due to age and use.
