“The Squid is a sort of mutated squid that has been pulled up from the deep sea or maybe just a motif drawn from some of my previous paintings. First and foremost, I have focused on painting the sculpture in a way so that there is no front and backside but instead each viewpoint has its own value. The sculpture is painted with oil paint and other mixed materials with hints of glitter. It has been finalized with a layer of glossy lacquer which gives the feeling of the sculpture still being wet”.

About the artist: A graduate from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Anders is a painter, sculptor and graphic designer. He loves to experiment with different shapes, motifs and materials and has even used organic materials such as plants and fish in his work.
