A Danish officer of heavy cavalry with a short wig, armour and a red coat. Signed and dated verso “Pinx Ulrich Ferdinand Beendfeldt Anno 1762 d. 12. April”. Inscribed verso in Latin “Ætis Suæ 64” (at the age of 64). Oil on canvas. 78 × 62 cm.

In need of surface cleaning. Several minor crackles, peelings, retouches and repairs. Marks from the stretcher visible at the front.
