Consignment deadlines

Consignments for online auctions can be made on an ongoing basis, and the consignment deadlines for the upcoming international auction are as follows:

• Antique furniture, bronzes, silver, porcelain and decorative art: Tuesday 4 August

• Jewellery and wristwatches: Tuesday 4 August

• Fine art: Monday 10 August

• Modern art and design: Monday 17 August

Major demand and high hammer prices

We have just completed this summer's international auction at Bredgade, where we experienced major demand and high hammer prices in more or less all categories:

• Le Corbusier: "Les dés sont jetés". Woven signature Le Corbusier -60. Gobelin. Hammer price: DKK 2.1 million

• Gilt bronze Shakyamuni Buddha seated in dhyanasana. China, Ming 1368-1644. Weight 19,4 kg. Hammer price: DKK 1.7 million.

• Queen Anna Sophie's Chinese cabinet: Hammer price: DKK 1.5 million.

• Lynn Chadwick: "Conjunction XV". Stamped Chadwick 1970. Hammer price: DKK 1.3 million.

• Johan Thomas Lundbye: View towards Kullen from Julebæksbroen. Oil on paper laid on canvas. Hammer price: DKK 880,000.

• Alvar Aalto: A pair of rare and early easy chairs with moulded ash frames, armrests wrapped in leather cord. Hammer price: DKK 550.000.

• A necklace set with numerous brilliant-cut diamonds weighing app. 20.00 ct., mounted in platinum. Hammer price: DKK 130.000.
