Peter Hvidt (b. Copenhagen 1916, d. s.p. 1986)

Armchair with round beech legs. Sides, seat and back upholstered with patinated black leather. Model 1558. This example made 1940s by Fritz Hansen, with maker's paper label.

Patina consistent with age and use. Legs with surface marks and scratches. Leather with some wear along edgings, armrests somewhat faded in colour. Glued tear by one front leg. Seat with light surface cracks.
