A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Amitayus, seated in dhyanasana on a textile covered throne, hands on lap holding a bowl, richly adorned with crown and jewellery, hair with remains of blue colour, mounted with flaming mandorla. Inscription on front of throne "Made in the regin of Qianlong with respect in year 1770. Sealed bottom. With stand. Weight 1150 gr. H. 21 cm.
