Jorn wrote this central work on aesthetics and philosophy “Held og Hasard” (1951–52) in the sanatorium of Silkeborg. He said of this work: “This book deals with the sublime, the longing for the elevated”.
Highly attractive presentation copy of Jorn's central work. The work is dedicated to the Danish artist Sigurd Næsgaard (1883–1956).
