Literature: Steffen Linvald: “Paul Fischer - The Paintings of Copenhagen”, 1984, pp. 66–67, with a description of the artist's villa on Sofievej, where the present painting from 1905 is mentioned,with his 15-year-old daughter Harriet covers up to her birthday.
