A Chinese patinated bronze bombé shaped tripod censer, sides with Arabic scripture in cartouches. Marked Xuande, but 17th/18th century. Weight 1424 gr. Diam. 15 cm.
Provenance: Engineer Aage Gernow 1894–1977, stationed in Beijing in 1921–1928 with the task of building part of Yenching University in Beijing.
