A pair of antique Kerman figural rugs, Persia. Depicting the King Houshang Shah and plaque with his name. Houshang Shah was the second Shah to rule the world according to Ferdowsi's Shahnameh. Hushang is based upon the legendary figure Haošyanha in the ancient Zoroastrian scripture of the Avesta. Early 20th century. Both c. 86×64 cm. (2)
