The “BO 101” series of bench / tables originate from the all wood bench that Finn Juhl designed for Baker furniture, a piece that he kept at his house in Kratvænget, Ordup. The “BO-101” is one of the best examples of the restrained functionalist and modernistic path that Finn Juhl also pursued in his designs, at the same time he designed his organic, sculptural masterpieces. The versatile bench was available in four sizes: length 112, 150, 183 and 225 cm. with choice of either teak or rosewood top. The brass sides would function as a hold for a thin, foldable cushion, covering 2/3 of the length of the bench and most often with two tone colored fabric.
