Rare stool with sculptural teak frame. Seat upholstered with natural leather. Designed and made approx. 1951, presumably by cabinetmaker Torsten Schollin. H. 48 cm. L. 53 cm. W. 38 cm.

Model designed 1951 as part of the interior for Hotell Malmen, Stockholm, Sweden.

Provenance: This stool comes from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is labeled with the three crowns and a metal plaque marked with inventory no. UD, R 5130.
