A rare coffee table of elm with convex top. Round, tapering legs with stretchers. Designed 1942. This example made 1940s by Rud. Rasmussen Cabinetmakers, with part of maker's paper label. H. 60 cm. L. 100 cm. W. 60 cm.
The model was designed for Søllerød City Hall (now Rudersdal City Hall) in 1942. Both architects later designed the extension with interior for the City Hall in 1964.
Condition
Light patina including marks and surface scratches, top with few old, small dents and chips.
