A Chinese patinated bronze figure of Simahananda-Avalokitesvara seated on a lotus seat in the ‘royal ease’ posture on a lion, wearing jewellery and a large pierced crown, she holds two stems, shoulders flanked by lotus flowers. Wanli 1573–1619. Weight 1611 gr. H. 23 cm.
