The present painting is a study for a larger painting by Constantin Hansen titled “Ægirs gæstebud” (Ægir's Feast) done in 1857, which is in the collection of Statens Museum for Kunst, inventory number KMS939.
Condition
The canvas is relined. A few minimal retouches.
