An eght-light crystal chandelier with brass frame. MId 19th century. Electrical. H. 85 cm. Diam. 70 cm.

Provenance: The chandelier once belonged to the Norwegian born Danish major general F.A. Schleppegrell (1792–1850), who fell on July 25th 1850 during the Battle of Isted, a crucial clash between Danish government troops and non-loyalist citizens of German orientation.

Condition

Red glass bowl with old repair (see photo). Frame with patina. Please notice: Bruun Rasmussen does not warrant the future functionality of the electrical installation.
